Job description

• You will be part of an agile team developing services for the PDS 2.0 Project;
• You will be a software developer responsible for designing, implementing and testing new services using AngularJS;
• Write code that meets standards and delivers desired functionality using the technology selected for the project;
• Drive world-class quality in the development and support of products;
• Engage subject matter experts in successful transfer of complex domain knowledge;
• Apply principles of SDLC and methodologies like Lean/Agile/XP, CI, Software and Product Security, Scalability, Documentation Practices, refactoring and Testing Techniques;
• Write code that meets standards and delivers desired functionality using the technology selected for the project;
• Understand performance parameters and assess application performance;
• Work on core data structures and algorithms and implement them using technology chosen;
• Proactively share information across the team, to the right audience with the appropriate level of detail and timeliness.

Requirement Profile - Knowledge, Skills & Experiences

• Highly proficient in spoken and written English;
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Technology, Engineering;
• Large Software Industry experience;
• Large frontend development experience;
• Effective and productive software engineer in Remote working environment;
• Strong AngularJS programming skills;
• Agile Development process;
• TypeScript;
• HTML, CSS pre-processors (SASS), CSS framework;
• Ability to understand UX designs & requirements to convert them to technical requirements;
• Implement functional components in Angular;
• Integrate angular components with backend REST services;
• Unit testing;
• Debugging skills;
• REST API framework understanding;
• ElectronJS;
• Cloud native (AWS) understanding;
• SonarQube;
• NPM / webpack;
• Effective remote working skills to learn new environment, domain, product with minimal time;
• Self starter and able to set direction for self and others when uncertainty exists;
• Highly effective and efficient troubleshooting skills;
• Highly effective communications skills;
• Technical ownership and drive to complete tasks on schedule;
• Seeks to understand problems thoroughly before implementing solutions;
• Identifies opportunities for innovation and offers new ideas;
